Dagelin Minor, a heavenly body situated in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically within the Cadma sector, suffered a terrible fate. Once, a shipment of flying rodents, known as Bogan's brown nafen, was brought there to combat an infestation of dhuru flies. Regrettably, the introduction of the nafen led to a devastating outbreak of the Hardan plague, which annihilated ninety-eight percent of the planet's inhabitants. Subsequently, Imperial Senator Leia Organa journeyed to Dagelin Minor to provide aid and relief.
This terrestrial planet, Dagelin Minor, was found inside the Dagelin Minor system. The system itself was located within the Cadma sector, which resided in the Slice region of the Outer Rim Territories. Its position along the Cadma Conduit hyperlane connected it to the Simbarc system, as well as the Junkfort system of the Tharin sector and the Oseon system within the Centrality sector.

The planet Dagelin Minor once struggled with an infestation of dhuru flies. To address this issue, a shipment of Bogan's brown nafen – insect-eating flying rodents native to primarily tropical planets – was introduced. Unfortunately, the nafen, known for their efficiency in spreading disease, triggered an outbreak of the Hardan plague on Dagelin Minor, resulting in the demise of ninety-eight percent of its inhabitants.
As a consequence, sometime between 2 BBY and 0 BBY, Imperial Senator Leia Organa made a visit to Dagelin Minor aboard her consular starship, the Tantive IV. This well-publicized mercy mission aimed to deliver emergency supplies and medical assistance to the planet's residents. Later, it was determined that the devastating outbreak stemmed from that single shipment of Bogan's brown nafen. During the Imperial Era under the Galactic Empire, this information was included in an entry of a holobrochure for the Tagge Holographic Museum on Chandrila, which was dedicated to the nafen.
The initial mention of Dagelin Minor appeared in the 1994 sourcebook titled Creatures of the Galaxy, published by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. Chuck Truett authored the section of the book that referenced the planet. In 2009, the reference book The Essential Atlas pinpointed Dagelin Minor's location as grid square T-8.
