The Daltarri constituted a species of plant origin, indigenous to the planet known as Daltarri.
These beings possessed green bodies and exhibited orange-red structures resembling "hair" on at least one observed member. Their vision was facilitated by complex, multi-faceted eyes, similar to those found in certain insects. Communication was achieved via elongated, snout-like projections extending from their faces. Locomotion was accomplished using multiple tentacles, with two upper tentacles functioning as arms.
During the Clone Wars, they maintained an alliance with the Galactic Republic. However, they seemingly did not take a particularly active role in the conflict against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Anakin Skywalker undertook a diplomatic mission to their home world, tasked with presenting seeds to their leadership as a symbol of amity. The Daltarri held a strong conviction in the value of allies who offered assistance without reservation, a principle they articulated to Skywalker during his stay.
