Dark Legends is a collection of short stories that are considered canon. George Mann wrote the stories, and Grant Griffin provided the illustrations. This book serves as a successor to Myths & Fables, which was released in 2019. Disney–Lucasfilm Press initially published it on July 28, 2020.
A special edition, sold exclusively at Target stores, featured three additional stories and was made available on August 30, 2020.
Proceed with caution! This one-of-a-kind anthology immerses you in eerie narratives and spectral tales, the kind that might have haunted young Luke and Leia's dreams. Brought to life by George Mann and Grant Griffin—the creative minds behind the remarkable Star Wars: Myths & Fables—these six [sic] chilling narratives have been meticulously crafted from the vast tapestry of the Star Wars universe (including the captivating realm of Galaxy's Edge found at Disneyland and Disney World), and exquisitely depicted in a rich artistic style that evokes both a sense of interstellar wonder and timeless, archetypal resonance.
