Largely self-taught, Weeb began his career in smuggling around 35 BBY. Previous encounters with legal authorities nearly resulted in his imprisonment on Kessel. Frequently collaborating with Jenna Lars, he was noted for his fiercely protective nature towards her. Nursing a personal vendetta against the Galactic Empire, Weeb was willing to assist the Rebel Alliance in their fight, so long as Jenna remained safe. He often feigned ignorance and displayed a distrust of individuals sensitive to the Force-users.
