Drear's holocron, a Sith holocron, was built by the Sith Lord known as Darth Drear around the year 4645 BBY. Within this device, Drear gathered all of his accumulated wisdom and lessons, notably including directions for a mysterious rite designed to bestow everlasting life upon its practitioner. Although Drear met his end as a consequence of this very ritual, his holocron endured for a thousand years, until Darth Scabrous found it again on Odacer-Faustin. Scabrous managed to access the immortality ritual, but suffered a fate identical to Drear's, being devoured by it. It is believed that Drear's holocron was obliterated when his droid sabotaged Scabrous' secluded tower, leading to its destruction in an explosion.
