Darth Plagueis (audiobook)

Publisher's summary

Darth Plagueis: Arguably the most gifted Sith Lord to have ever existed. His sole focus is the acquisition of power. His only fear lies in losing it. As a novice, he fully embraces the merciless Sith code. And when the opportune moment presents itself, he eliminates his Master—yet pledges to avoid suffering the same end. Unlike any other follower of the dark side, Darth Plagueis masters the ultimate power . . . the power over life and death.

Darth Sidious: The apprentice selected by Plagueis. He covertly studies the Sith ways under his Master's tutelage, all while publicly climbing the ranks of the galactic government, starting as a Senator, then becoming Chancellor, and ultimately seizing the title of Emperor.

Together, Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious, Master and student, set their sights on galactic dominance—and the utter destruction of the Jedi Order. But can they truly defy the ruthless traditions of the Sith? Or will one's ambition to reign supreme, coupled with the other's yearning for eternal life, plant the seeds of their own downfall?
