Davin Kotras plied his trade as a smuggler and pilot in the era encompassing the Jedi Civil War, both before and during the conflict. He maintained close ties with Jolee Bindo, Sunry, and Elora, having participated in numerous escapades alongside Bindo in their earlier, more adventurous period. In the course of the Jedi Civil War, Davin encountered Jolee once more and relayed the unfortunate situation of Sunry, another mutual acquaintance and war veteran, who found himself incarcerated on Manaan on charges of homicide.
