Deegan

Deegan served as a lieutenant within the New Republic, originating from the planet Corellia; he was male. During 6 ABY, Wedge Antilles was in the process of rebuilding Rogue Squadron, a highly skilled fighter group, and considered Deegan as a possible addition. Nevertheless, Antilles believed that having both himself and Corran Horn, both of whom hailed from Corellia, would create an imbalance in the squadron's representation, potentially giving Corellia undue influence. Instead of selecting Deegan, Gavin Darklighter, a young farmer from Tatooine, was chosen to become a member.

Five years later, in 11 ABY, Deegan was under the command of General Antilles, participating in the rebuilding of Coruscant. When a construction droid under Antilles' supervision uncovered a protected vault inside a structure being torn down, Antilles made the decision to deactivate the droid for examination, even though restarting it would require three days. Deegan promptly furnished Antilles with the shutdown code and accompanied him, along with Purple and Silver teams, to investigate the building.
