Dekien, a planet situated in the Dekien system of the Outer Rim, was sparsely settled and relatively undeveloped during the time when the Sith rebellion occurred. The Ronin, previously a Dark Lord of the Sith who spearheaded that uprising, transported a fragment of the kyber mirror of Shinsui Temple to Seikara Caverns and concealed it inside a small cave.
In the two decades following the conclusion of the conflict, the Empire began to show interest in the planet. Eternity Enterprises, a travel agency, established guided excursions from Dazenma, the main city, to explore Seikara Caverns.
