An unnamed droid type was utilized by the Tarnoonga Pirates while they were on the Demolisher.
During their time as prisoners on the Demolisher, C-3PO and R2-D2 received orders from Captain Gir Kybo Ren-Cha to collaborate with a droid of an unknown design. Their task was to load missiles in anticipation of an assault on Tammuz-an. While the unidentified droid managed the conveyor system responsible for moving the missiles, R2-D2 deliberately loaded a missile in the wrong orientation. The plan was that when the missile was launched, it would malfunction and cause damage to the pirate's hijacked Star Destroyer. To conceal his act of sabotage, R2-D2 used a large electromagnet positioned above to grab the weapons droid, lift it up, and drop it onto the conveyor belt alongside the missiles.
A droid sharing the exact same model and color scheme also made an appearance in the 1986 Star Wars: Droids television special titled The Great Heep.
