A senator representing Denon reported the vessel's disappearance, fearing that pirates had captured or killed the crew. The Jedi uncovered that the ship was transporting the corporation's staff arrested on Ord Sigatt back to Denon.
Additional inquiries revealed that the senator, who initially reported the missing ship, had been a major financial backer of the corporation's operations on Ord Sigatt.
