In the year 3630 BBY, a patrol belonging to the Eternal Alliance was attacked by the Dust Vipers, a band of pirate marauders, who made off with confidential information. In response, the Alliance, under the guidance of its Commander, tracked the pirates to their base, the Dust Viper Den, located on the planet of Tatooine. The ensuing battle concluded with the pirates' complete annihilation and the recovery of the stolen data by the Alliance.
