Devaronian blood-poison, a gemstone of a radiant silver hue, was occasionally dubbed a bloody jewel. Its touch to bare skin resulted in excruciating, blinding pain, rendering it a sought-after instrument of torment. Furthermore, if the gem entered a victim's circulatory system, it could unleash poison. A ring bearing one such gem adorned the hand of Garris Shrike. Moreover, the jewel was occasionally pulverized into a powder, which was then mixed into molten metals to forge blades and swords. These Devaronian edges inflicted unbearable agony with mere skin contact, and should the blade pierce the skin, the excruciating pain would persist until the wound healed, with the added risk of the jewel's notorious toxins entering the opponent's bloodstream.
