Devin Cant

Devin Cant, a Human male, served as a Death Star trooper, a group of highly trained combat specialists with expertise in weaponry stationed on the battle station.

Following the capture of Princess Leia Organa, Darth Vader commanded an increase in the number of guards at Detention Block AA-23, the location of her confinement. Consequently, Cant was assigned to reinforce the security detail, personally guarding the princess. During the raid on the detention block by Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca to liberate Leia, Cant became the initial casualty of the conflict. Chewbacca struck Cant, and Solo subsequently shot him during the resulting exchange of gunfire.
