Dirk Balor, a male Human, held the rank of Captain and was in command of an Imperial battle cruiser during the Galactic Civil War period. Aboard Balor's vessel was Reist, an uncommon nightmare demon whose telepathic powers posed a considerable danger to others. To manage Reist and direct its abilities against his foes, Balor utilized a Human replica droid named Altin Wuho. In 3 ABY, Balor crossed paths with Rebel figure Luke Skywalker within the isolated Lapez system, subsequently sending Reist and Wuho to assassinate Skywalker. Nevertheless, both Reist and Wuho perished during the confrontation, enabling Skywalker to escape.
