Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park existing in the real world, situated within Walt Disney World found in Orlando, Florida. It initially commenced operations under the name Disney-MGM Studios on May 1st, 1989, before undergoing a name change in 2008; since its inception, it has showcased a variety of attractions and happenings centered around Star Wars, beginning with the debut of the third Star Tours attraction from Disney just a few months after the park's inauguration. The yearly Star Wars Weekends, which had a lengthy run, were hosted at the park up until 2015. Ultimately, it evolved into the home of the second themed area called Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
The Indiana Jones series, originating from Lucasfilm, also has a presence in the park through the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular performance.
