Docking Facility 7K was a part of the Mon Calamari Orbital Shipyards complex. After stealing technical specifications for the T-65B X-wing starfighter, Ral Shawgrim, an Alliance technician, initiated an unsanctioned shuttle departure from Docking Facility 7K in an effort to defect and join the Galactic Empire.
