Alongside Chivos, he held the position of foreman at the facility, belonging to the taller and more slender subspecies of the Mustafarian people.

During 1 ABY, Donko Jen, employed by the Mensix Mining Company, held the position of foreman at the Mensix Mining Facility located on Mustafar. During his time in this role in that specific year, he enlisted the services of a traveling spacer to eradicate several kubaza beetle nests that had emerged at a mining camp situated within The Burning Plains region of the planet. To expedite the task, he furnished the spacer with several explosive charges.

Upon reaching the camp, the spacer discovered a significant infestation of the hardy beetles. Immediately, the spacer began placing the explosive charges and detonating the nests. This action provoked the beetles, leading to an immediate assault. However, the spacer skillfully killed each and every beetle, thereby completely eliminating the infestation at the camp. Upon his return to Donko, he received a reward of 10,000 credits along with a mounted kubaza beetle head as a token of appreciation.
