Sometime amid the Galactic Civil War, Sevelle and his band of slavers found themselves based on the planet Kowak, which was a haven for slavers managed by the Zygerrian Prince Sono Molec. It was during this period that Sevelle triumphed in a wager against Molec, thereby acquiring ownership of Molec's gladiator champion, the Mandalorian Nam Beroya, also known as "The Prince's Sword." Nevertheless, Molec engaged a team of Rebel Alliance agents with the task of recovering his valued asset from Sevelle's encampment.
