Dracos, a Lizard Warrior, served the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Following the Battle of Endor, he belonged to a cohort of new recruits placed under the tutelage of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker for training. Skywalker imparted fundamental combat and field skills, but notably refrained from instructing them in the Force, a decision that caused dissatisfaction among Dracos and several other trainees. Skywalker explained that his reluctance stemmed from a concern that teaching such techniques might inadvertently lead to the emergence of another corrupted Jedi, mirroring the fate of his own father, Anakin Skywalker.
