Drewwa

Drewwa was recognized as the third moon orbiting Almania.

History

Many generations before the well-known Battle of Yavin, Drewwa saw its colonization. This moon was highly industrialized, hosting offices for various companies from all over the galaxy, such as Tendrando Arms, Trang Robotics, and Lyster Innovations.

Behind the scenes

The first time this moon was shown was in the novel The New Rebellion, when Luke Skywalker observed Almania's set of three moons as his ship approached the planet. While two of the moons were named as Auyemesh and Pydyr, Drewwa was not identified by name until the release of the novel Legacy of the Force: Exile.

Dan Wallace, the author, chose the name of this moon as a tribute to his son, Andrew.

Within the sample chapter of Legacy of the Force: Sacrifice, found within Exile, Drewwa was incorrectly written as "Drew wa." This spelling mistake was fixed before the final publication of Sacrifice.
