Droidification

Droidification refers to the transformation of an object or instrument into a droid form. Typically, the resulting droid possessed the restricted intellectual capacity of a labor droid, yet its physical appearance was determined by the components of the original device, leading to significant variations in size.

This procedure was predominantly utilized for non-military equipment. However, the Vulture droid starfighter can be seen as an example of a droidified vehicle, similar to the Phase III dark trooper, which represents droidified armor.
