During the Galactic Empire's nascent years, Edge served as an assassin, tasked with locating and assassinating individuals sensitive to the Force. His assignments led him to Glee Anselm, the aquatic planet inhabited by the Sälãi Käsi order. The Galactic Emperor considered this clan of Force-sensitive Nautolan warriors, practitioners of Teräs Käsi, a danger. Edge gained entry to their temple and proceeded to murder the entire order, which included Neaed Fisto, the respected headmaster and uncle to the well-known Jedi Master Kit Fisto. The sole survivors of this slaughter were Eaden Vrill, along with his sister and cousin.
