The principal character, the Edjian-Prince, featured in the sorrowful drama Uhl Eharl Khoehng, a work esteemed by actor Adalric Cessius Brandl as tragedy's pinnacle. Brandl himself once embodied the Edjian-Prince, a part later taken on by his offspring, Jaalib.
Upon the demise of his royal father, the Prince, a resolute figure, inherited a modest kingdom. Dissatisfied with these limited lands, he dispatched laborers to fell the trees, aiming to enlarge his domain. The Prince soon learned, however, that the forest was governed by the uhl Eharl Khoehng. This Eharl deceived the Prince, compelling him to direct all his people into the forest, where they underwent a transformation into trees. Subsequently, the Trickster King induced serene dreams in the Prince, who then entered the forest and became ensnared. Unwilling to admit the error of destroying the king's forest, the Edjian-Prince succumbed to madness and incinerated the entire forest.
