Initial interaction for the Elathan was with Jedi aboard the Chu'unthor vessel.
The Elathan were a societal group who derived their designation from the Elatha system. This system was situated within the Stensen sector, itself a part of the Outer Rim Territories. Their initial encounter with the broader galactic community transpired roughly between the years of 400 and 230 BBY. It was during this period that they received a visit from the Chu'unthor, a substantial training spacecraft utilized by the Jedi Order. This inaugural contact event garnered widespread media coverage throughout the galaxy.
The Elathan were originally conceived for the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook, a supplementary resource for a tabletop RPG released by Wizards of the Coast back in 2002.
