An elite dark trooper Elite dark troopers represented a specialized version of the dark trooper model employed by the Galactic Empire. Distinguished by a more pronounced helmet design and significantly improved programming compared to regular dark troopers, these sophisticated combat droids were conceived to function as "super soldiers." Their arsenal included blaster cannons, SE-14c pistols, fragmentation grenades, thermal detonators, and concussion grenades. Similar to all dark troopers, they demonstrated high effectiveness in combat situations. In contrast to Phase I dark troopers, these troopers participated in a greater number of engagements and possessed more extensive combat experience. Initially, elite dark troopers consisted of cyborg clones, but this design was later modified to utilize fully robotic droids.
