The individuals residing within the Daimanate were called the Encumbered by Daiman, the Sith Lord ruling over them. This conceited Sith Lord, who thought of himself as the originator of the universe, considered all other living beings to be soulless constructs brought into existence by his own power. These Encumbered ones carried the weight of the tasks and directives that he had imposed upon them. Furthermore, he viewed everyone under his dominion as simply instruments of his own desires.
