The endosystem served as a selling point for the Science Research Droid manufactured by TelBrinTel Corporation. Located along the droid's spinal column, it offered six connection points that could accommodate attachable components. These components ranged from supplementary manipulators and platforms to compact implements and hypodermic injectors.
