Eru Matalis, more famously recognized by his designation Havac, was a Human male who first came into the world on the planet of Eriadu. He made his living as a freelance journalist, media representative, and also as a holodocumentarian; he was employed by entities such as the Eriadu Free HoloDaily.
During the time of the Stark Hyperspace War, Matalis passionately advocated for the rights of civilians and nonhumans involved in the war; after the war, he produced a number of holovid documentaries exposing the unethical and unjust actions of the Trade Federation. His idealism was diminished by the limited attention his documentaries received, leading him to become a member of the Nebula Front. He ultimately became the leader of the Eriadu cell, and created the Front's military division. He then rose to the rank of Havac within the Front, and eventually became the sole Havac, taking on the exclusive leadership position.
He conceived the plan (with the covert aid of Senator Palpatine) to enlist Arwen Cohl, launch an assault on the Federation at Dorvalla, make two attempts to assassinate Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum, and carry out the murder of the Trade Federation Directorate. He met his end at the Eriadu Trade Summit, where he was killed by Arwen Cohl, who also perished.
