Following the Battle of Hoth, Rebel Alliance General [Marutz] was captured by stormtroopers and held as a prisoner in an Etorasp prison cell. Subsequently, Marutz was transferred to Darth Vader's Star Destroyer for interrogation by Vader. On Etorasp, Luke Skywalker obtained a naval card, allowing him access to the Star Destroyer. He then sabotaged a key system on the ship, creating a diversion for Vader, which allowed him to liberate Marutz, and the two Rebels made their escape.
