Farfalla system
The Farfalla system was situated inside the Indra-su-Mar sector, which itself was a component of the Slice within the Expansion Region. It derived its designation from Valenthyne Farfalla, a Jedi Lord who was a half-Bothan.
Behind the scenes
The system of Farfalla initially appeared in The Essential Atlas, a reference book from 2009 by Daniel Wallace and [Jason Fry]. This book located it in grid square P-12. Fry has indicated that the star systems detailed in the book's Appendix are named after the most important planets or celestial objects found within those systems. Moreover, he has directly verified that he intended the Farfalla system to include a planet also named Farfalla, which would have been the homeworld for the half-Bothan species.
