The Farseen system, a star system found within the Mid Rim, served as the location of a New Republic installation. During a confrontation between New Republic forces and Imperial soldiers, Star's Nova, a mercenary group under the command of Qell Tepine, infiltrated the base's control hub and deactivated its external defenses, ultimately allowing the Empire to capture the base.
