Celebration Weeks, also known as Festival Weeks, were observed on Coruscant in three different versions: the New Year Celebration Week, the Festival of Life, and the Festival of Stars.
New Year Celebration Week spanned the initial five days of the new year, according to the Galactic Standard Calendar, occurring before the commencement of the first month.
Originating from the Core Worlds, the Festival of Life took place over five days situated between the sixth and seventh months. This period was characterized by gatherings, celebrations, and the exchange of presents.
The Festival of Stars represented another week-long festivity, positioned between the ninth and tenth months of the year, honoring the concept of interstellar journeys. To commemorate this event, a significant number of individuals embarked on trips to various planets.
The celebrations culminated in the Galactic Fair (referred to as the Imperial Fair during the era of the Galactic Empire).
