Fifth Alsakan Conflict

The Fifth Alsakan Conflict was a part of the Alsakan Conflicts, a sequence of wars that set the Galactic Republic, along with its important capital on Coruscant, against the planet of Alsakan and its associated allies. Beginning around 13,050 BBY, the conflict continued until approximately 12,700 BBY, with combat occurring across the galaxy. During the conflict, Alsakan introduced a new class of cruiser, and Admiral Hirken effectively utilized these cruisers during his defense of Alsakan's colony worlds located in the Northern Dependencies region in 12,980 BBY. His campaign encompassed battles fought at Iridonia, Glee Anselm, Xa Fel, Dachat, Borleias, and Twith. Toward the end of the conflict, a battle later known as the Resistance on Cyrillia transpired on the planet Cyrillia, although the war ultimately concluded with a ceasefire that endured for almost a millennium.
