Bendak, a male Human criminal, found himself the target of the bounty hunter Boba Fett. This pursuit led them to the planet Sathiemon. Bendak attempted to evade capture by concealing himself in a deep pit, but Fett discovered his hiding place. When a group of hired guns ambushed Fett, attempting to eliminate him, Fett retaliated by killing Bendak. Subsequently, he exchanged his attire with Bendak's and used his jetpack to propel Bendak's body out of the hole. Due to this deception, coupled with a superficial resemblance between Bendak and Fett, the mercenaries mistakenly believed they had successfully killed Fett.
