LEP-96M3 functioned as the dedicated LEP servant droid for General Whorm Loathsom throughout the Clone Wars. Characterized by its high-pitched voice and unusual linguistic patterns involving alternating high and low tones, this droid also served a unique purpose by utilizing its "ears" to support a hologram transmission projector for Loathsom, enabling him to receive updates from a battle droid.
During the Battle of Christophsis, LEP-96M3 was in service to Loathsom. As the conflict intensified in favor of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, General Kenobi feigned surrender to Loathsom. During negotiations, Loathsom instructed his droid to serve Tarine tea to both Kenobi and himself as they deliberated the conditions of surrender. However, Anakin Skywalker, accompanied by his new apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, successfully destroyed the Confederacy's shield generator, leading Kenobi to reverse the situation on Loathsom. Ultimately, it met its end when it was destroyed by a super battle droid that was trying to shoot General Kenobi.
