Mining Barques were work vessels with a length of 80 meters, produced by Trilon, Inc. These ships accommodated a crew of three, plus six passengers, and could transport 3,000 metric tons (equivalent to 1,000 cubic meters) of cargo, alongside enough supplies for 4 months' worth of operations. They featured a class 4 hyperdrive system, as well as a class 9 backup, a navigation computer, and an atmospheric speed of 400 kmh. These vessels came standard with automated mining systems, a sensor suite tailored for detecting valuable metals, shields, a front-mounted turbolaser, and a powerful mining laser. Despite being designed for surface mining, the laser's power was sufficient to breach the hull of smaller spacecraft.
