First Order Special Forces

The First Order Special Forces were an elite unit within the First Order military. They operated TIE/sf space superiority fighters and reported directly to the upper levels of the First Order military hierarchy. Compared with ordinary TIE fighter pilots, the Special Forces pilots wore red flashes on their helmets, as did the flight barons of the Old Empire. Some members of this group were elite stormtroopers who piloted elite speeder bikes. They wore black stormtrooper armor with two red stripes on the left side of the chest-plate, matching the color scheme of their speeder bikes. A notable member of this force was Major Elrik Vonreg, who differed from the other Special Forces pilots by wearing all-red armor and flying a TIE/ba Baron Space Superiority Interceptor rather than a TIE/sf space superiority fighter.
