Publisher's summary

Like many teenagers across the galaxy, Karr attends school, supports his family's business, and enjoys speeders and droids. However, Karr harbors a secret: physical contact with certain items triggers intense headaches and unconsciousness, occasionally accompanied by visions of unfamiliar individuals and locations.

His parents are concerned about his health, while his grandmother believes the Force is the source of these visions. However, the last Jedi, Luke Skywalker, hasn't been heard from in years. Are there any Jedi remaining to guide Karr in controlling his abilities? Is anyone even willing to discuss the Jedi and their fate, as their memory fades and the First Order gains power? Isolated on his home planet, Karr becomes a collector of historical artifacts, hoping to discover an object that will reveal the secrets of the Jedi through a vision.

When his grandmother passes away and his parents decide to send him to a distant school, Karr reaches his limit. He must understand his destiny and the role of the Jedi in it. Accompanied by Maize, the direct and unpredictable new student with First Order connections, and RZ-7, his caring droid companion, Karr embarks on a journey across the galaxy in search of answers. His quest will lead him from Utapau to Jakku to Takodana and beyond, revealing more about the Jedi than he anticipated…and his own connection to the Force.
