Force technical services

A force technical service represented a unit within the Imperial Navy, led by a systems admiral. Each FTS included eight transports, commonly Evakmar-KDY transports, where every transport was supported by two escort frigates. The transports each housed technical and mechanical experts, organized based on their designated ship. FTS teams were summoned when a system required substitution, or when substantial alterations were necessary. While FTS units were unable to fix completely inoperable vessels, they could maintain them and move them to deepdock fleets. In situations where a ship was unrepairable, the FTS had the ability to recover usable parts from the ship.
