Formayj, a male Yao, was a long-time colleague of both Han Solo and Chewbacca (in Legends continuity). He operated his business from Tholatin. During the Black Fleet Crisis, when Chewbacca was on a mission to free Han, he sought out Formayj in order to acquire details regarding the Yevetha and the Koornacht Cluster (Legends). Reputed to be a non-negotiator, Formayj's advanced age meant he had developed numerous techniques within the smuggling profession. He meticulously evaluated the value of every item and every piece of intelligence he sold before relinquishing it. A significant portion of the knowledge he possessed originated directly from Coruscant and New Republic Intelligence; in reality, Alpha Blue utilized Formayj as a conduit for conveying data to Chewbacca.
