Freedom Two
The Stormtrooper Two, subsequently renamed the Freedom Two, represented the second iteration of blaster rifles produced by the SoroSuub Corporation for the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper forces. While maintaining the fundamental design principles of its earlier version, the Stormtrooper One – itself a near copy of the E-11 blaster rifle from BlasTech Industries – it incorporated certain modifications, notably the removal of the shoulder-stock and the implementation of both a pistol grip and a vertical foregrip. Internal mechanisms underwent redesign as well, with adjustments to the barrel, aperture, and galven coils to produce a broader, more powerful energy discharge effective up to two-hundred and fifty meters.
The design clearly prioritized close-quarters engagements, such as those encountered in urban warfare and ship boarding operations. Consequently, it did not achieve the same level of precision as its forerunner, although the energy output of its bolts surpassed even that of the A280 blaster rifle.
Although the majority of Stormtroopers continued using the Stormtrooper One, the Stormtrooper Two still saw extensive deployment within the Imperial military.
Davar Hamalcal, an operative of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, carried a Stormtrooper Two as part of his standard equipment.
