Bombs that utilized fusion were potent weapons employed by the Galactic Empire. During the time of the Great Purge of Mandalore, the Imperial Navy sent forth a large group of TIE/sa bombers, each carrying fusion bombs, which resulted in the destruction of the planet's shielded cities. Furthermore, much of the surface was turned into trinitite. These bombs also had the capability to disrupt a planet's magnetic field, cause communication problems, and contaminate its atmosphere.
