The Galax Viper volley gun, a sizable anti-vehicle weapon, was manufactured by Kurtough in the initial period of the New Republic. This weapon system incorporated multiple missile launchers into one device, each configured to launch its projectile in quick succession. The resulting effect was a "curtain effect," where a relentless stream of projectiles bombarded the target vehicle, effectively bypassing the majority of deflector shields.
