Gartros, diminutive, dragon-esque avian beings, made their home on the planet Coruscant. These creatures possessed tails adorned with spikes and mouths packed with pointed teeth.
The gartro's eggs were considered a prized food item at Dex's Diner, often appearing on the menu alongside nerf steak, protato wedges, and Quor'sav-fried steak. Pickled gartro eggs were also available, costing 3.7 credits for a set of three, or in the form of a gartro egg omelet.
