A gas chamber functioned as a component of a blaster. Its purpose was to contain the blaster gas utilized by the weapon. The gas refill valve was linked to the chamber, enabling the blaster to be replenished with gas after use. When the weapon's trigger was activated, the Heter-Valve opened, permitting small quantities of blaster gas to escape the gas chamber and proceed into the XCiter.
