Gathi

The Gathi were an organization that counted Can Lar as one of its members. He once was employed by CoMar Combat Systems, where he suggested an anti-orbital ion cannon design. Lar left the company after they turned down his idea and instead took his design to Kuat Drive Yards, who subsequently developed it into the v-150 Planet Defender. A short time following the Battle of Yavin, a collection of Imperial documents created by Rebel Alliance historian Major Arhul Hextrophon for Alliance Supreme Commander Mon Mothma and other Rebel officers mentioned Lar's affiliation with the Gathi.
