The Gavos Droid Revolution represents an uprising by droids that occurred on the planet Gavos. This event transpired sometime after the Battle of Yavin, during the period known as the Galactic Civil War. The instigator was EV-8D3, an EV-series supervisor droid who also served as a leading figure in the New Droids' Rights Movement. His goal was to initiate a violent rebellion against all organic life forms across the galaxy. Ultimately, this revolt was suppressed by a group of spacers who were in the employ of Bargos, the Hutt.
