The Geal system, a star system situated within the Mid Rim, became the site of a significant incident. During the New Republic's efforts to reinstate governmental authority to a colony within the system, a detachment of soldiers led by Captain Narn Detan crossed paths with the bounty hunter Moxin Tark. Subsequently, Tark assassinated Detan, made his getaway, and successfully collected the bounty that had been placed on the Captain.
