If a non-Geonosian attempted to wield the weapon, its fluid-extraction mechanism would fail to function. Consequently, the remaining fluids within the weapon would constitute the only available ammunition for the new user. This beam could be maintained for a brief duration, capable of inflicting substantial harm to adversaries regardless of distance.
